An old postcard entitled Ben Nevis from Corpach. The date is an estimate as the lighthouse on the pier was built in 1912 and isn't built yet.See also picture #58 picture #64

I have seen in a book a similar view of the same Steamer and the date was given as 1878, Note the twin funnel so it isnt The Gondolier!

I think the steamer is the Mountaineer 1852 to 1889. This pic shows her after she was lengthened in 1876.
